**Directions [#ta90f8d2]
The Katsura campus of Kyoto University is located in the western part of Kyoto. A shuttle bus runs between Katsura campus and the main campus at Yoshida seven times a day (see [[here>http://www.kyoto-u.ac.jp/en/access/bus/index.htm]] for the schedule). By taxi, the campus is 25 minutes away from Kyoto station, and 10 minutes away from Katsura station.
Buses (public transportation) #20 and #6 serve the campus from Katsura station, whereas #21 and #21B depart from Kyoto station. All buses stop at "Kyodai Katsura Campus Mae" within the campus, less than a minute away from Building A2.
